Built between the Sands and the Lake resides a large stone house, created to house the weyrlings of Vorel and their mates. The building is separated into two sides, males and females. Each room can house two weyrlings and their dragons, so the place is quite large. It is also several stories high, and extends almost as high as the bowl itself. Sides of the building are clawed where dragonets have practiced clinging to walls.

Ahh, the magnificent Sands. where Candidates come to see if they are indeed worthy to be chosen by a dragon mate! The Sands are always hot to the touch, so be careful if you're not wearing shoes. Surrounding the Sands are sets of bleachers made from stone, so that others can watch the Hatching from a safe distance.

The far side of the bowl has three levels. The Infirmary is situated on the first level so patients have easy access to medical care. Many windows have been carved in this section of rock in order to keep patients light-hearted during their stay.

The level above the Infirmary is a large corridor filled with rooms of all sorts. These rooms can be used for a variety of things, but most are used to house weyrfolk and guests, and to keep Records stashed away. Although, anyone is allowed to scan old Records for personal use!
